Frequently asked questions

How do I access hum. on a new device?

Sign in with your existing email and password (or Google account) on the new device. Your data syncs automatically from our secure servers — no manual backup needed.

Can I reset my baby's food journey?

At this stage there isn't a one-tap reset, but you can adjust your baby's start date, feeding preferences, and allergen progress from Settings. Email us at hello@withhum.app if you'd like help resetting specific records.

I accidentally logged the wrong reaction. Can I undo it?

Yes — tap the ✕ button on any served meal slot to unserve it and roll back the reaction record. For allergen reactions, you'll see a confirmation step before the log is cleared.

How do I cancel my Flourish subscription?

Go to Settings → Subscription → Cancel subscription. You'll keep full access until the end of your current billing period. If you subscribed through the App Store, you can also cancel directly in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

How do I delete my account and all my data?

Go to Settings → Privacy & data → Delete account & data. Type DELETE to confirm. Your account and all associated data are permanently removed within 48 hours. You can also email hello@withhum.app to request deletion.

Is hum. safe to use for babies with known food allergies?

hum. is designed to guide allergen introduction alongside your healthcare provider's advice — it is not a medical app and does not replace professional guidance. Always follow your GP's or paediatrician's instructions for high-risk allergen introductions, especially if your baby has eczema or a known allergy.

Where is my data stored?

Your data is stored securely on Supabase, hosted on AWS servers in the Asia-Pacific region. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit. We never sell or share your personal information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

I have a clinical question about the allergen protocol.

hum.'s allergen introduction protocol is based on ASCIA (Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy) guidelines. For clinical questions specific to your baby, please consult your GP, Plunket nurse, or paediatrician. We can point you to the ASCIA guidelines — email us and we'll share the relevant resources.
